As a food reviewer for Foodjoyy, I’m excited to delve into the essence of Roastits. This inviting eatery, famous for the Roastit Bubbly Jocks, presents a robust selection of dishes that promise a taste of Glasgow’s rich culinary heritage. Whether you’re savoring the Full Scottish Vegetarian Breakfast paired with buttered toast or indulging in seasonal specialties, each plate is thoughtfully prepared with passion.
The atmosphere at Roastits radiates warmth and intimacy, making it an ideal spot for any occasion, from casual brunches to memorable celebrations. Customers rave about the attentive service, with many expressing gratitude for the friendly staff who go the extra mile. With kind reviews flowing in from visitors and locals alike, such as those from Adham Jamil Batarseh who reminisced about the best raviolis he’s had in ages, it’s clear that Roastits encapsulates a dining experience that resonates with every palate. “ Food is fantastic, the menu has a great variety of dishes for everyone, the portions are generous and all reasonably priced. Been here several times and never disappointed. Staff go above and beyond to ensure customers are happy. Special thanks to Frank & Sean, who were absolute STARS from start to finish helping us celebrate a 70th birthday meal this weekend. Cannot recommend this place enough, ideal place for a light brunch, dinner or a special occasion. 10/10!!! Thanks again. ”
“ Came out from Dubai and had the BEST Riavolis in a veryyy long time ! One of the head waiters was beyond sweet and helpful, He even explained some touristic museums to check out in the City! Great first impression of Glasgow! Highly recommend ”
“ Food was very good. I asked to be very well done my beef steak and I was very pleased with taste. ”
“ Always bring non-scots here it's just the best Glasgow food, not to mention the service. Update: After changing hands and renovation quite a bit has changed, firstly a new menu keeps the Scots dishes but really reduced options. You'll now be waiting quite a while for food but rest assured it's as good as ever! Second quite a bit of that Scottish atmosphere is now gone, if your interested in that sort of thing ”
“ Cant rate Roastit Bubbly Jocks high enough, Frank and his team provide a great experience in real good food dining. Service, value for money, a unique and warm intimate venue atmosphere, he treats his customers like friends. Thank you, always a favourite of ours. ”
“ We thoroughly enjoyed coming back to Roastits after the recent refurb and ownership change that is now a sister restaurant with Fanny Trollopes in Finnestoun. The food and service were excellent - we had the pork belly starter and lamb and chicken as mains, all delicious and beautifully composed dishes. The Basque cheesecake was fantastic and a very generous portion. Can't wait to come back in December to have the famous Roastits clootie dumpling! The updated layout with the new bar looks stunning while the charm and cosiness still remains. The new mural decorating the wall with Glasgow's architectural highlights is also beautiful. Only the classic fairy lights are missing. My review from 7 years ago to live up to: "Best scottish restaurant in Patrick" ”
“ the trip of fish was fantastic but truly everything we ate was faultless. one of the best meals I’ve had this year! ”
“ Unassuming and brilliant restaurant. It's a great place to try some Scottish classic dishes like haggis, neeps and tatties or a creamy smoked haddock chowder. The salad with whipped Goat's cheese was delightful. Fabulous food and very friendly service! ”
